News

Bushfires in Australia

Many of our listeners will be aware of the devastating fires currently (Jan 2020) occurring throughout a large area of Australia. Our thoughts are with the families of those who have lost their lives, the terrible damage that have been wrecked on the environment, and the loss of animal life. If you wish to help out we suggest donating to one of the major relief organisations such as the Australian Red Cross or the Salvation Army Australia. Vets Beyond Borders is a veterinary charity that is seeking donations which will go towards their AVERT (Australian Veterinary Emergency Response Team) Program, and is a good way to help out animals directly affected by the bushfires. Click on the links above to go to their website.
