  1. Veterinary student here in Florida, I very much agree on the SI unit issue. In the American medical system, I had a bit of human medicine training before starting my veterinary path, is mostly if not all SI on the away from the patient side due to drugs etc. At least in veterinary medicine I have always been told to calculate everything into Kg’s and g’s because most of our drugs are in mg/Kg etc.
